When to Book a Baby Mini Session
Mini sessions are best scheduled when your baby can sit independently, usually around 6 to 7 months of age, but before they start crawling or walking. These sessions capture a sweet window of time when your baby is curious, expressive, and full of personality.
Booking Tip: A deposit secures your place in my diary, and we’ll finalise the session date when your baby starts showing signs of sitting unaided.
Baby Photography Session Details – What to Expect
- Location: My private studio in Augustine Heights, conveniently located for families in Brisbane, Ipswich, and Springfield.
- Timing: Weekday morning sessions, scheduled to align as closely as possible with your baby’s nap routine
- Duration: Sessions typically last around 30 minutes—just long enough to capture a variety of expressions without tiring your baby
- Who’s Involved: The focus is on your baby, but I always encourage mums to hop in for a few natural and loving portraits
Styling Your Baby Photography Session
My style is soft, timeless, and minimal. I provide a thoughtfully curated selection of neutral blankets and rugs, simple and sweet rompers and pants in soft, beautiful fabrics and a small selection of simple toys. To complement the simplicity of the session, parents are encouraged to wear neutral tones if joining in for photos.
After Your Baby Session – viewing and ordering your images
- Within 2 weeks, you’ll receive a private online gallery with your beautifully edited images
- From there, you’ll select your favourites for your chosen photography package
- Your high-resolution images will be available for download, and any printed wall art or albums will be custom-ordered and ready for collection once complete
